New official blog

Hi there! I'd like to introduce you an official dotPlant CMS blog.

From last news date everything has changed. I've decided to make it more universal and flexible.

The bad news is that I really don't know when the first release will be. The current stage of developing is projecting and thinking, not writing code. But after I finish it, I think it'll be great.

And a bit of new concept:

• Flexible event-plugin structure - allows to make extendable controllers, models and any object you want
• Behavior based components - all components can have some default pluggable behaviors like sortable, searchable, indexable etc.
• Block based layout - you can move your blocks from one sidebar to another just in real time. The HTML layout is based on YUI grid component and you can custumize everything you want
• SOA principle - easily make your application AJAX-ready
• Improved client-cache - now clicking 'Back' button in browser doesn't reloads full page, if it was not updated
• Automatic sitemap generation
• and many more is planned...

DotPlant - Open-Source Yii CMS

Hi, there!

Here is the first, but still testing demo site for new Yii powered CMS called DotPlant.

It is open-source and can be easy downloaded from Google Code.

Warning! Current SVN version is not stable at all. It is not recommended to use it in production. So as for now, you can just set up it on your local computer for testing or for learning Yii Framework or jQuery(because DotPlant have much JavaScript/AJAX in it's source code).
